The new moon teaches gradualness and deliberation and how one gives birth to oneself slowly. Patience with the small details makes perfect a large work, like the universe.

Stillpoint Therapeutic Massage (STM) spans a wide variety of therapeutic manual approaches to improve health and well being through hands-on manipulation of muscles and soft tissue structures to prevent and alleviate pain, muscle spasms, stress and injury, including childhood neuromuscular disorders. This bodywork improves the functioning of the circulatory, lymphatic and nervous systems and assists the body’s recovery rate from injury and stress.

Katherine Crow is a movement educator and practitioner of neuromuscular therapy and massage therapy who has taught Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Choreography, Body Mechanics and Body Awareness Movement Exercise for over 28 years in Spokane, WA. Her core-based movement curriculum is grounded in the technical classical forms she has practiced since childhood that have evolved into the wellness/fitness studies and model taught at SIMS. The relationship between breath and awareness is at the heart of this dynamic integrated approach to the wellness process. The ultimate goal is conscious wholeness through harmonious balance and fluidity of the physical, mental and emotional aspects of being.

Katherine was the founder and artistic director of Columbia Ballet Theatre and Columbia Ballet, a school and performance company for children and young adults in Spokane from 1980-2005, co-founder and artistic director of Namaste Modern Dance Theatre from 1985-1990 and Assistant Director of On Stage! through WSU/Spokane, Washington Institute for Mental Illness Research and Training from 1997-2006.
